One of the DMV’s most anticipated music festivals announced their star-studded lineup this week. Broccoli City Festival is returning to Washington, D.C. in July 2024 with Megan Thee Stallion, Gunna, and Lil Yachty named as headliners.
The celebration of music and culture draws crowds from around the world each year. The festival was first held in 2013 as an event to promote environmental awareness and health cases in the Black community with headliner Big K.R.I.T. Since then, the event has grown drastically, spotlighting some of the music industry’s biggest stars like Doja Cat, H.E.R., Cardi B, and Jhene Aiko just to name a few.
In 2024, BC Festival will take place at Audi Field on Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28. The immersive community experience will include interactive art installations and a range of local vendors sharing culinary delights.
The festival will not only host musical performances but also several live experiences like comedy segments with Issa Rae and Funny Marco, engaging shows like TrapSoul Karaoke hosted by Bryson Tiller, and even a country music segment with emerging artist Tanner Adell.
